Privacy Policy
Effective August 23, 2026
PairPlay is built so that we know nothing about you. This page explains exactly what that means, and it is mercifully short.
What we collect
Nothing. PairPlay has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, and no network access. The app never sends data anywhere — not to us, not to anyone else.
What stays on your Mac
PairPlay stores a small amount of data locally so the app feels familiar between sessions:
- The names you give people (for example, renaming "Saad's AirPods Pro" to "Saad")
- The last pair of devices you used, so they come preselected next time
This lives in the app's local settings on your Mac, never leaves it, and is deleted when you delete the app.
Your audio
PairPlay routes audio between your Mac and your headphones using Apple's CoreAudio system, entirely on your machine. It does not record, analyze, or transmit anything you play or say.
Purchases
PairPlay is sold once, up front, through the Mac App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see or store your payment details. Apple's handling of your data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Third parties
The only third party involved is Apple, for the App Store purchase itself. There are no analytics providers, ad networks, or tracking SDKs in the app.
Deleting your data
Delete the app. That's it — everything PairPlay stored goes with it.
Children
PairPlay is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
